Red Feather offers permanent sanctuary to horses, including seniors of advanced age, those with significant physical or emotional trauma, and mother-and-baby pairs—among other risk factors that make them vulnerable to neglect or abuse. Our sanctuary model allows us to provide stability, routine, and therapeutic, hands-on care for animals who need more than what traditional adoptive rescue programs can offer.

We are currently home to more than forty sanctuaried equines, including many beloved seniors between 25 and 35 years old! We also have pigs, cats and dogs.
